StudyBridge Privacy Policy
Local data
StudyBridge stores your profile, courses, plans, imported materials, scanned pages, and generated summaries on your device. It does not require a StudyBridge account or operate a StudyBridge-hosted user database.
Optional AI processing
AI features require your explicit permission. When you allow AI and use document summarisation or timetable extraction, the selected document text and, where needed, timetable images are sent to Google’s AI infrastructure through Firebase AI Logic. Refusing or withdrawing permission keeps those items on your device and leaves local features available where supported.
Google’s applicable processing, retention, security, and abuse-prevention terms apply to content sent for AI processing. StudyBridge does not promise zero retention or that content is never reviewed for abuse prevention.
App integrity
Production AI requests are intended to use Firebase App Check with Apple App Attest to help verify that requests come from a genuine app. This build does not include Firebase Analytics. It does include Firebase Crashlytics: if StudyBridge crashes or fails at something, it can send the technical shape of the problem — what went wrong, on which model of phone — and never your courses, files, notes or summaries. You can turn crash reports off in the Privacy Center.
Your choices
You can revoke AI permission in the Privacy Center. You can erase StudyBridge’s local data from Profile → Privacy Center → Erase all StudyBridge data. This action cannot be undone.
